Beneficial settlement in the foreign currency case!

The law firm represented Clients in a foreign currency case, which had a factual state that deviated from the typical. Thanks to the consistent implementation of the litigation strategy and tough negotiations, the Clients reached a settlement with the Bank before the first instance court. The final shape of the settlement differed significantly from the Bank’s proposal, which was made even before the proceedings. The settlement allowed the Clients to save over 1,300,000 PLN.

As can be seen, a settlement in a foreign currency case is not always unfavorable for the borrower. The decision whether to reach a settlement or not should be made after a thorough analysis of the case and an assessment of the potential risk.
